Meet Your Guide
Hi I’m Randin Olson, owner of Lock Jaw Guide Service located in the Ottertail lakes area of Minnesota. Growing up in this area, I had the privilege of learning how to fish from my father who is an outstanding Walleye angler. As the years grew, so did my passion for fishing. Although Musky is my favorite species to chase, Walleye, Bass, Northern, and Panfish will always hold a special place in my life.

I was able to sneak out this weekend for what likely will be the last open water adventure of the 2023 season. My nephew Carson and I went out with Lock Jaw Guide Service chasing late season big fish. It was COLD!!! Carson braved it out and was rewarded with his PB Muskie at 52″. Getting this fish in the boat was its own story but somehow, we figured it out. Love seeing this kid sticking it out and fishing with me all season long! Can’t wait for next year with him!

I don’t post a lot of reviews but Randin with Lock Jaw Guide Service definitely deserves one. I have brought the kids to Red and Mille Lacs for walleye in the past but last year we wanted to do something different and go for panfish. Lock Jaw Guide Service came highly recommended and I can see why. Randin puts a lot of pride in the services he provides and it shows. Not only does he have the fish dialed in but his ice castles are very well kept and clean! I have no idea how this guy isn’t booked out and on a waiting list but he says he still has openings this winter. I have one more trip booked myself and planning to book a 3rd.
